Life at a slower pace
I hate it when i see people updating frequently on their blogs. Its like, their lives are more interesting(i assume). People always seem to have something to blog about, be it some little, insignificant stuff they blow up to drama-mama proportions. Or, some little, insignifincant issue that leads to another, and another and so on. Or maybe im just lazier, maybe other people have this passion for blogging.

Yes, so little insignificant issues. I just realised that this week could just be- the last week of this semester. So yeah! Exciting.
And yesterday(friday) i went for this class, and attendance wasnt even taken. Back and forth the journey from home to school's like 2 hours, and so i went for 1 hour plus of lesson. So the journey took longer that the actual lesson itself. Sometimes i wonder if its really worth it, to study somewhere so far(halfway across the island) and spend that much time travelling everyday. Having a crush on someone makes you do the craziest stuff. But im way past that now. Those were the secondary school days.

And i saw that person last week. With my baby, of all people. Well, i felt all panicky instead of that warm, loving feeling you get when you see your crush. Or in this case, ex-crush. I went off straight away, trying to avoid that couple althogether. Yeah, and im surprised they lasted so long. Since our secondary days. Not that im still jealous or anything, but they really looked so.. so imcompatible. Urgh..

I tried baking 2 days ago. You see, my mom bought this toaster and this oven and the oven comes with the instrution manual. And inside the manual there were like simple baking recipes. The oven's one of those compress air thingy, i dunno whats the right term for that. Its supposed to cook faster with the vacuum function or something. Yeah, so i tried the easiest, the butter sponge cake. It turned out good, though the surface looked quite burnt. It tasted good. Hmm.. love butter sponge cake.
So with this oven i can try and cook the stuff they do at Breeks. Like lasagna, pasta mornay, marinara etc. Sounds fun no? I always wanted to be able to cook. Always watching those cook shows like Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson. They make cooking look so fun. And easy!
Im going online to find recipes and try my hand at something.
