Happy one year anniversary, Baby.

We went for the camp as planned, it was for 3 days and 2 nights. It was at east coast, nothing quite glamourous such as a chalet, it was simple, honest fun. We actually wanted to book the chalet, but i thought it was really expensive, given the fact that there's only the 2 of us.
Nevertheless, a tent was just as nice. Really cosy, spacious, just for the both of us. Most of the time we were either sleeping in the tent, or lazing around in the tent.
We reached by cab at early evening, got the tent set up(sorry for not helping), lazed around for a while and it was dinner time.
We had dinner at this jap restaurant. Somehow i influenced my baby into eating jap food, cause i dont remember us eating so much jap food in the past. We've really got hooked on sushi, particularly salmon. Sadly, the jap restaurant didnt deliver. Food was only so-so.
We had an extremely cold shower in the morning. Gosh was it refreshing. For like the first hour i felt so clean, so refreshed. I cant imagine myself going for a few days without showers like survivor on tv. The odour, stench, sweat, dirt, grime. Im glad for the cold water though, it was refreshing though at the time i wished for hot water.
Went to the nearby place, Parkway Parade or something. Walked around a bit and bought some stuff, food like one whole bbq chicken(yum!), small box of salmon belly sushi, beer and other miscellaneous stuff at Giant. Oh wow, the sushi was so damn fresh, the salmon meat just melted in my mouth. I didnt really have to bite into them. It was cheaper than those you get in restaurants as well, so regretted a bit that we didnt buy another box. We love salmon sushi!!
After that we went to cycle and blade in the afternoon. I bladed, baby cycled. Feel like buying my own blades, so that we can blade all day long next time we go there.
We didnt have dinner that night(come to think of it, it was just last night), we just shared the chicken we bought earlier.
Fell asleep for a while soon after, and went for a night shower. Open-concept shower, kinda weird and not used to it. The funny thing is there's a sign that prohibits nude showering. Hmm.. open concept ok fine, but no nude showering? Why not just build cubicles with showers in the first place? Silly. Took me awhile to get everything done eventually, and we went back to camp to sleep.
Went to the toilet 10 mins away as i couldnt sleep. You know its that horrible feeling. You sleep a little, wake up a little. So in the end you feel like you didnt sleep at all. The area was so quiet, not a single soul in sight so it was quite surreal, scary at the same time. When i came back the sky was painted a deep, blood red. I just took my time to walk back, looking up ahead and above. All i could see was dark tree figures with a bloody backdrop. The feeling was like i was in another place, not really on earth. Another dimension perhaps. So much sadness, i was left so lonely as i headed back.
That night it rained. We were afraid that the water would get in so we put an umbrella(ella eh eh eh) at the top. Couldnt sleep, was so afraid of robbers opening our tents, with us being the only tent there at that area. I only fell asleep after 6, when the rain started to stop.
In the afternoon we went home.

And met up in the late afternoon. It was then still a wednesday, the anniversary of our first year. Tried to collect salary in form of cash without success, so we went to watch Hairspray. Kinda like a musical? Or is it a musical? Predictable plot, but i like the catchy tunes and actors(:-D). Wendy cheng aka xiaxue was in the theatre in our row with her usual friends. We heard someone gossiping about her height after the movie(hee hee!).
Baby bought me a backpack. I kinda expected it. It made me feel really special, and i really appreciate it.

Happy one year anniversary my dear. Thank you, thank you so much for your unconditional love and devotion.
