The dreadful napfa. Turned out to be quite surprising after all. The first 5 tests( sit-ups, pull-ups and stuff) i dont even know if i'd passed it. And if i had, it would be by such a thin margin. And comes the 2.4km. I tried, yes i tried hard. Conserved my energy for the sprint in the last lap and in the end i came in first. Surprising yes?! I used to come in the first few places during competitions in my primary/ secondary school days, but i havent been running for such a long time you know.
Okay, i know this isnt exactly like a competition, just a napfa test. But there are like at least over 50 athletic individuals. My timing was 11:20, and 1st in place.
Surprise, surprise..
Went to Suntec city today, along with my baby after work. First time working in the mornings, and feels good to have someone accompanying me. Thanks wookay?
So yeah, went to the convention hall thing. Heard theres some PC fair or something. It was so damn crowded, kiasu singaporeans( and some banglas too) everywhere. Wanted to buy the 80 gig external hard disc which was at $99. Cheap no? But come to think of it, i could just free my computer of unwanted data and save that money.
Bought an optical mouse though. The one with the red light thingy at the bottom. Is that what you call it? Yeah cause my last one is so damn lousy that i threw it to the ground in a fit, and it broke off from the wire. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
And also bought some mattress comforter at the convention hall below. How random and irrelevant i know. After that we went to Marine square, where we tried for 1 hour to locate the Breeks cafe. You think that working at the same cafe you'd get sick of the food. Ha ha. We dont actually get to eat whats on the menu you see. We had some hotplate stuff, chicken chop and steak. I had 2 of the hazelnut mocha, and tried without success to dissuade my baby from trying the "blue dolphin". The concoction is so simple and easily available. Food there is expensive no? Well at least i get the staff discount. 20%. And it still adds up to over 40 bucks. -_-
Still i feel so selfish. Dragging my baby after working, after standing all that long hours. Sorry wookay.
