| Malaysian trip : long entry |
Yes we're back from Malaysia. Its only been a few hours and i already miss the journey, and my precious Baby, so much. Sigh. Im worried because day by day i might forget about those wonderful 5 days. It has been so much fun, just the 2 of us alone. Oh how i miss you :( . . Anyway, updates.
Day 1 We met up and took train to Kranji and bus across the causeway. Got our passports scanned, and soon we were in Malaysia. JB to be exact. We planned to take coaches around Malaysia so we had to wait for 1/2 a day because the next coach to Genting only comes around 10 pm. And we reached JB around noon. Argh. . But we went to this shopping plaza, and walked around a bit. Already i have forgotten the name, thats how forgetful i am. Er. . so yes the shopping center. Quite typical of a singapore shopping center, it has all the usual shops you can find here. First stop the salon. Im 21 and have never gotten my hair cut in a salon before. Ha ha. It was my Baby's idea to have a haircut, so in the end we got our haircut together. It was pampering i guess, to spend that much attention on that crop of stuff on your head. But our haircuts turned out nice, someone looks so cute wink wink. The whole thing cost only 33 ringgit if im not wrong. Cheap? Next we had lunch, and watched a movie. Stomp the Yard. Erm, didnt quite like the movie. It was rather boring. I dunno whether it was because i didnt sleep the night before, or was the movie boring, cause i fell asleep halfway through till the end. After that we walked around a bit till it was time for the coach. The coach took more than 6 hours. At least it was comfortable with the reclining seats. We slept for most of the journey to Genting. It was past 4 by the time we reached, and the sight of it from the bottom of the hill was spectacular. With all the lights on the winding roads and the hotels at the peak. We checked into our hotel, unpacked, watched tv and didnt sleep until 7 in the morning.
Day 2 I woke up at 5 plus in the evening. 5 plus! Gee, we slept for almost 12 hours and thats how tired we were. That was too late for the outdoor theme park, so we settled for dinner at the foodcourt. Even so things werent cheap there. After that we walked around a bit, theres like an indoor theme park within the First World Hotel, which was our hotel. We found time for a little rollercoaster ride. It wasnt even scary, as compared to the Outdoor Theme Park, which i later will find out.
Day 3 For some reason we couldnt sleep, we woke up early in the morning. We checked out of the hotel and went for breakfast and to the Outdoor Theme Park. Sooooo much fun! Oh wow, we bought tickets that covered all the rides and we had such a fun time. Our first ride was the Pirates-something, which was something like you sit on this car that goes into this dark tunnel. And it was supposed to be scary and we werent even the least spooked out. We were like anticipating when the lights gonna come out and waiting for some scary figure to jump at us. There was nothing. Silly, silly. . But we were like so cute together. We also took the swinging chair thing, quite thrilling at some point of time i thought i was gonna fall off. We went here, there, took the pedal boat, fire dragon, the smaller and the bigger rollercoaster. . so many rides. I liked the big one cause it was like overlooking the hill and it went fast, 360 degrees and stuff. I made us go take it 3 times. Until it had to be checked for maintainance. Oh and theres this boat-ride thing that goes on water. Rather romantic, cause the journey was rather long and slow. Ha ha. And then my Baby and i were looking at this thing that goes vertically up and shoots down fast. I was so scared just looking at it. In the end i chickened out last min, and my Baby braved the ride alone. Oh well, cant blame me for my phobia of heights right? I must have been shouting on every ride, cause at the end of the day my voice was rather coarse. After that dinner at Pizza Hut and we went to collect our bags, and went on a bus to KL. This time we didnt take a coach, but rather a bus. It feels almost the same thing, cause Malaysian buses seem to be quite spacious. Despite the steep roads, the bus went quite fast winding here and there. Nevertheless, we fell asleep on the bus.
KL. Went straight for some hotel we previously checked on the internet. Spent like an hour locating and when we finally did it turned out to be er, rather similar to the neighouring hotels. And expensive. It actually costs as much as the First World at Gentings, or even more, and it looks so cheap. Well we settled down, unpacked our stuff, and soon fell asleep.
Day 4 Woke up, time was around noon i think. Went to this Petaling Street. Something like chinatown or something. All the cheap stuff. We bought shoes, jackets amongst other stuff. One good thing about that is that we could bargain and bargain. And we did. Or my Baby did. Ha ha. . I didnt wanna do the bargaining, cause im not even pursuasive. Quite fun, walking around in the hot weather. Oh how i miss the cold Gentings weather :(. The stores there sell pretty much the same stuff, shirts, jackets, shoes, belts, sunglasses, even little rubber animals that grows in size when you put it in water. Erm. . how irrelevant. After that, we went to KLCC. Nothing there we cant find over here, another typical high end shopping mall. But it was quite big and we didnt walk around much. We chose to go outside and take in the scenery and stuff. Camwhored a bit infront of the massive twin towers. It looks so bright and impressive in the night. Walked around the complex a bit more, after that took train back to Bukit Bintang, where our hotel was.
Day 5 Woke up before noon, check out of hotel, and walked around the Bukit Bintang mall. Kinda like the Far East here, teenage stuff. Had lunch and went back to JB. By this time our lugguages were heavy, and we took turns carrying the bigger, heavier bag. Argh. . All the stuff we bought. Oh do i miss JB. Came back to where we started, had our last meal in Malaysia at the same cafeteria where had our first. All the sentimental, useless little details. Soon we checked into the customs and headed back to Singapore.
On the way i was feeling so sad, cause our vacation was coming to an end. Sigh, i was told all good things come to an end, but still memories will be memories. As long as i have my precious Baby i know that there will be more of them to come. Oh how i miss you dear Baby BeeBee. Love you, love you, love you.
