| Chinese new year |
This year has been the same as the past years, getting more boring with each passing year. Truckloads of relatives after relatives, going from this place to that. I really dont mind getting the red packets, if only my dad would spend less time during each house visit( bad time management!). But i shouldnt complain, because by far ive only visited my grandmother's this year. Because all the others seem to have visited us already. And since ive gotten the red packets, theres no way im going over to their places hee hee.
Speaking of red packets, the amount ive gotten by far is $312. Not a lot, considering the fact that my dad gave my sister and i $200 each. Yes, less house visits, less dough. :-(
And i plan to just throw everything into the bank, and when my pay check comes ill decide on what to splurge on. Hopefully a fat, fat, fat pay check at the end of this month( 1-2 weeks time).
Dont you just hate greeting people year after year, putting on a smile like you're so glad they finally come visit you. Yucks spare me the drama. And its so kid-ish! You know how they greet in mandarin right? Like 4-syllables, idiom-like greeting. Oh yucks. Just pass me the red packets please.
Havent seen my baby a lot lately. Even though been sending you to work but only for short periods of time. I hope after today you will rest well, hopefully see you again soon. So sad! Havent really gone out with you in a while, and my nights have been so, so lonely.
