A new Wimbledon Champ

Allez!!! None other than Amelie Mauresmo. Im genuinely happy for her, after having proven herself worthy of another Grand Slam title. Wow, this is really her year( Aussie open title under her belt too). She has finally proven her critics wrong by not choking under tight situations( and at the same time kicking ONE Belgium ass). I just dont like Justine.
I cant help but imagine how things would have been like had Serena Williams been here. Sigh, i miss the ONE TRUE CHAMPION. The powerful all-rounded player who hits winners off every corner of the court. Those people( who should just quit whining) who think that she just hits hard and harder aka "ball basher" and that she wins by not constructing points but rather over-powers her opponents should really get a second opinion. She hits the angles just as well.
I mean, if you like Hingis' style of play, and think that angles will get you more points than hitting hard, then fine. But watching the pros play and watching YOU play are 2 entirely different matter. Stick with your silly game plan( not like you can hit 1/8 as good as Hingis anyway).
On another note, i would have rooted for Venus Williams all the way had she beaten Jankovic( who looks like an eskimo). Good to know shes doing fine in doubles with Bryan though. Shes still looks every bit like the Wimbledon champ to me. I LOVE WILLIAMS SISTERS. :D
